Don't Feel Bad for the Wildcats...Feel Bad for Me!!

I thought I knew just how obsessed my husband was with the Az Wildcats basketball team, but even after 7 years together I had barely scratched the surface!! You see...for the past 7 years (and longer actually) the Wildcats have been more or less a decent contender within the world of NCAA basketball...so I thought it was only slightly weird (and mostly cute) that my husband would prioritize his vacation time around March Madness rather than Christmas...and implement game day Wildcat red for all members of the family...and even the hours we would spend recapping every move and play from the game that we had JUST spent three hours watching!!

Then things got ugly!! I began to see the dark side of Scott's obsession. I knew we were heading downhill when his nightly check of GoAZCats.com always ended with another recruit de-committing. Then, we accidentally stumbled onto the first exhibition game of the season with only 4 minutes left in the game...THERE WAS NO GAME DAY RED THAT DAY!! But the final blow came when our before-bed rundown of the season and players was nothing more that a brainstorming-pep-talk of all the other things we could do to have fun instead of watching UofA basketball! I committed to shooting hoops and playing tennis every weekend for the rest of the season...which means I'll be ready to give birth before I'm done!!!

So if you even begin to feel a little remorse for poor Jamel Horne...envision me...8 months pregnant...trying to swing a tennis racket with a 2 yr. old clinging to my leg and a slightly-less-depressed 30 yr. old jumping around on the other side of the net!!

Perhaps you can teach Janice how to play tennis. Obumer is president and Lute is loco. What's next?

Your looking at it all wrong. Now we can all quit our jobs, pick up welfare, and get rich!!
