There is just something about the fall that makes the desire for baking come bubbling up inside me! It doesn't matter that it's 95 degree outside and 75% humidity...it's fall, dang it, and I want to bake!!! This was the first fall, however, where in a moment of insanity and complete denial....I decided it was time to include Brody in the baking process.
**Note to self....there is a reason why wild and crazy 2 year old boys prefer to play with balls and trucks. Violence and aggression don't manifest themselves quite as nicely whilst one is stirring a bowl of eggs and sugar, for example.**
But, we rebounded nicely after implementing the "no taking the spoon out of the bowl" rule....and the "no putting anything into the bowl except the spoon" rule...and the most important "no sticking your hands in the bowl and wiping it on your shirt, shorts, or anything other than the napkin mommy gives you...in fact, give me the bowl and you just play with the spoon yourself" rule!
A good time was had by all....and it at least looks pretty...I'm not making any promises about the taste! We'll let daddy be our guinea pig! :)

Ha! Ha! I was TOTALLY thinking about that when I was posting the pics...I have to admit that I haven't eaten that loaf yet because I'm still getting over the visual picture! :)
