It never ceases to amaze me how different boys are from girls! The older my babies get (and they're getting soooo old!!) the more apparent the differences. All day I am nagged and coerced to play the very different games that they want to play. It is becoming harder and harder to find a compromise.
Taryn ALWAYS wants to play princesses...
...where she is learning early on the price of beauty. This was taken shortly after we pranced around the house in our princess shoes and she sighed, "Oooh! Should we sit down for a minute?"
Brody ALWAYS wants to play tball or light-sabres in the sun-baked, cactus-ridden backyard-that-we-don't-have. This was taken from his tball class at the park. Lucky lefty!
Because of this, we've decided to put off updating the inside of our house to rid the cactus and build our own backyard. The process is every boy's dream...much better than TV!! When I informed him that he could see just as well from the air-conditioned dining room windows, he gave me an exasperated, "what am I going to do with you" look and exclaimed, "But I can't HEAR it in there!"
