Dear Daddy

Building a tent to sleep as a family on Daddy's last night with us.

Daddy is gone to Brazil for 9 days at an orphanage spreading the gospel, so we're gonna chronicle our days without him so he can keep up.  Here is day one...

As usual, I lost no time tackling my list of "while the cat's away" projects.

It rained...HARD!!

We pretended to be cheese walruses...

At least one of us remembered how many tusks a walrus has!

If you can, would you take a quick second and pray for the following:

1. That Scott and Brice would arrive safely in Fortaleza and that someone from the orphanage would be there to pick them up. (I realize this may come as a shock, but neither speak portuguese!)

2. That God would protect all the doctors, families, and students that went on this trip, and that His good news would flow freely amongst the orphans and the poor.

3. That Scott would have God's hands as he treats the numerous skin infections and diseases endured by these little kids.

4. That they would all return safely on Tuesday (24th), and that Scott would get enough rest before returning to work the next day.

5. That Brody, Taryn and I would survive without Scott...it is an understatement to say that we enjoy every second we get with him, so this will require major endurance!

If anyone is interested in following what they are doing in Brazil you can check out this website www.cfcbrazil.com

Your prayers are much appreciated!!
