My baby boy turns 6 today!! I can't believe that 6 years have gone by so quickly! It seems like only yesterday that you would recite hundreds of different types of trucks from memory; or shout out for "stroggies", "dog-dogs", and "walking cheese"; or tell us funny jokes that make no sense at all!Now you're a big kid that keeps us laughing with real jokes, and patiently corrects your sister's silly words (like "noodle-corn" and "jelly bread"), and obsesses on everything from Ninjago to Voltron to Power Rangers!
You accepted Jesus into your heart this past year with little pomp and ceremony, but full of honest sincerity! You always look for the bright side of each situation, and never struggle to think of things to thank God for in your life. You never give up, no matter how hard the task, and even when others (myself far to often) lose patience and treat you poorly, you are so quick to forgive and provide joy and cheer back to the situation. The world is a brighter place because of you, and I can't wait to see all the good works God has prepared for you this year!
